Please consider becoming a donor or sponsor

This is the third annual Doomsday reading, which began as a fundraiser for the Theatre in 2022.  The event, now a Baltimore tradition, continues to support the theater’s programs and organizational underpinning.

Our mission is to bring Poe’s works to life through the arts in Baltimore and beyond.  We do that through public events like Doomsday; by producing our award-winning audio drama series, Poe on the Air; and by presenting Poe movie nights and other Poe-themed fun.

But we can’t do it without financial support.  So we're asking you to consider making a tax-deductible donation to help us bring the works of Edgar Allan Poe to the people of Baltimore.

Your support won’t go unnoticed.

In addition to appearing on our website, your name and/or company’s name and logo will appear:

- on the schedule of readers as a supporter
- on a banner at the Doomsday 2024 event
- in a bag of thank-you gifts our VIP readers will take home with them
- in programs for all 2024 events and productions.

Here’s what your dollars can do:

$500 – help commission the development of a new script
$1,800 – pay a sound designer for their work on an audio drama episode
$8,500 – produce an audio drama episode
$20,000 – produce our 2024 stage production (excluding venue)

Contact us with your questions.  Let's talk about how you can get involved.

Bringing Poe’s works to life onstage, on the air, and in the classroom in Baltimore & beyond.
